An automated driving test replaces manual marking with sensors, cameras and software. A management module handles everything from registration through licence issuance, with fingerprint and iris recognition and kiosk-based processing.
The theory test is taken on a computer, drawing on a question bank, in several languages and with video questions. In the yard test, sensors in the car and 360° cameras score each manoeuvre automatically while the test is monitored in real time.
The road test is recorded digitally and evaluated automatically. Before setting off, the system checks the mirrors, seat position, seat belt, handbrake and doors. During the drive, centimetre-level satellite positioning (RTK GNSS), a rear radar and AI cameras follow the car, watching for lane departures, the distance to the car ahead, pedestrians, the colour of traffic lights and the driver’s hand position. A control room sees each vehicle’s location and the test statistics live.
